We are excited to invite CPX participants to hear Richard C. Wender, MD, Chair, Family Medicine and Community Health, Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania speak on Wednesday, September 15, 11-11:50am ET. Dr. Wender spoke at our last CPX IN-PERSON meeting in February 2020 in Hollywood, Florida on “Cancer Screening Saves Lives – Lots of Them.” Dr. Wender’s talk on September 15th is tentatively titled “Colorectal Cancer Screening – The Whole Shebang Talk” because it will include disparities, provider education, choice-based shared decision making, and the new age 45 guidelines. Please join us in welcoming Dr. Wender back to the CPX audience. The link to join will be added soon.
Dr. Wender’s talk is the keynote address for the AMGA Colorectal Cancer Screening Quality and Innovation Collective (CRC QuIC). Dr. Wender’s session will be a special joint event between the CRC QuIC and CPX, which will replace the September webinar series for CPX. If you have any questions, contact Cameron Meade at cmeade@amga.org.
