This session will focus on application of fair market value (FMV) analysis to professional services/co-management agreements (PSAs), physician executive and leadership roles, and panel-based compensation models in primary care. We will discuss how to set up compensation offers and make like comparisons to market survey data for FMV compliance and commercial reasonableness. A special analysis of unpublished leadership data from the AMGA 2019 Medical Group Compensation and Productivity Survey will be presented and provided to attendees. An overview of the proposed Stark/Anti-Kickback changes, including a new exception for value-based arrangements and modified definitions of FMV and commercial reasonableness, will be discussed.
